OK, hier und NUR hier bitte alle Cheater-Demos ...

Nochmal zur Erklaerung:

You found a cheater?
Great!
Make demos!
How?

So:

Start the demo in console with "record demoname", then try to get killed quickly (don┤t kill yourself!), then watch the "cheater" as spectator till the end of the round, say "stop" in console after that - and begin new in the next round until you are sure you have a good demo!
You need to say "stop" before the end of a map!!!! Otherwise, your demo may be broken ...

Post it here with server-name or IP, the cheater *exact* nick, the date and time and the map all this happend on.

To be more exactly: We believe that you saw a cheater!

To ban him, we need:

1) What Nick or Nicks ("name" in Counter-Strike) did the cheater use?
Write down the nick(s) as exact as possible - we need to search for the Nick in the log-files - that can be difficult with some ways to write a Nick!
Captions (Gross/Kleinschreibung) and special characters (!"ž$%&/()=?...) are important!
Did the cheater change his Nick?
List as much Nicks as possible and as exact as possible!

2) Also, what Nick or Nicks did YOU use in that time?
Did you change your Nick?
List your nicks exactly!

3) Which Server(s) did you see him on?
List the servers (Standard, Custom, UWC3, Half-Life, ..., Deathmatch Classic, Team-Fortress Classic, ...)!

4) Did other players or admins see him cheating?
List all Nicks!

5) On which map or maps did you see him cheating?
List the maps!

6) What time was it approximately?
Write down the time as close as possible!

We do not just ban players because other players say that they are cheaters!

Because of this, we need a DEMO file - see above - and possibly some other players who can confirm what you saw!

A demo should be as short as possible.

I tend not only to make ONE demo file per round, but i even make more than one demo per round!

That is, i die - or as admin stay spectator - and begin the demo, then search the player till i find the one i want to record.

Directly after each important thing to see, i stop the demo and start a new one - mostly, i name the demos like the player, in some form:

record cheatGuy_1
stop
record cheatGuy_2
stop

And so on ...

After the round or map, you will have several short demos - select the best one(s) and post it here!
Such short demos make it MUCH more easy to view and discuss them.

IMHO, others may vary ... and should send me a PM with more information smile.gif

One thing more:

To upload the demo in the forum, you need to make a zip-File out of it!
The forum software does not accept "*.dem" files, but "*.zip" ...

Enough information?
